Wade Dubielewicz Recalled By Islanders

BRIDGEPORT, CT - The American Hockey League's Bridgeport Sound Tigers, top affiliate of the National Hockey League's New York Islanders, have announced the recall of goaltender Wade Dubielewicz by the big club. This will be the second stint with the Islanders this season for Dubielewicz who is being recalled because of a knee injury to former Sound Tiger Rick DiPietro.

Dubielewicz is 1-0-1 with a 1.73 goals against average and .940 save percentage in two appearances with the Islanders, both during the 2003-04 season. He is 1-5 with a 5.03 goals against average and .854 save percentage in six starts for the Sound Tigers this year.

The Sound Tigers will host the Norfolk Admirals this Wednesday at 7:05 p.m. at Bridgeport's Arena at Harbor Yard on "Haunted Hockey Night". Children 12 and under wearing a costume and accompanied by an adult will receive one free ticket to this Wednesday's game, and there will be a costume contest for a signed, game-used hockey stick.
