Friday, Nov. 4 - Penguins vs. Springfield Falcons, 7:05pm Wachovia Arena - TICKETS AVAILABLE

NOTES:

The Penguins posted a 2-0-0 record against the Falcons last season, recording a 5-4 shootout win on Jan. 1 and a 4-0 victory on March 4.

The first 5,000 fans in attendance will receive a free dry erase board courtesy of the Citizens' Voice/The Times-Tribune.

Friday's game will be televised on Adelphia 63.

Saturday, Nov. 5 - Penguins vs. Philadelphia Phantoms, 7:05pm

NOTES:

This will be the first meeting between the Penguins and Phantoms since Philadelphia ousted Wilkes-Barre/Scranton from the 2005 Calder Cup Playoffs in five games.

The Phantoms are the defending Calder Cup Champions.

Friday, Oct. 28, Hershey Bears 2 @ PENGUINS 5

Tomas Surovy had two goals, Michel Ouellet had three assists and Marc-Andre Fleury stopped 25 shots to give the Penguins their third win of the season against the Bears. Daniel Carcillo, Erik Christensen and Ryan Lannon also scored goals, while Matt Hussey chipped in with two assists. Attendance, 8,023.

Saturday, Oct. 29, Syracuse Crunch 1 @ PENGUINS 5

The Penguins jumped out to a 4-0 lead on goals by Matt Hussey, Ryan Whitney, Erik Christensen and Michel Ouellet, and finished off the night's scoring with a Colby Armstrong goal in the third period. Fleury stopped 19 of 20 shots, while Tomas Surovy picked up three assists in the team's second win against the Crunch this season. Attendance, 8,018.

PENGUINS SET TEAM RECORD FOR CONSECUTIVE WINS

The Penguins picked up their eight consecutive win of the season Friday night against the Hershey Bears, establishing a new franchise record for wins in a row. The previous team record was seven straight wins, set from October 21, 2000 through November 4, 2000.

The Penguins' longest winning streak last season was five games from October 29-November 7.

The league record for consecutive wins to start the season is 11, set by the Rochester Americans during the 1984-85 season.

INDIVIDUAL STREAKS

Several Penguins players carry multi-game scoring streaks into this week's action:

Erik Christensen: five-game goal streak (Oct. 21-29, five goals); five-game point streak (Oct. 21-29, 5+8=13); four-game assist streak (Oct. 22-29, eight assists).

Michel Ouellet: four-game point streak (Oct. 22-29, 5+5=10).

Matt Hussey: three-game point streak (Oct. 23-29, 2+4=6), three-game assist streak (Oct. 23-29, four assists).

Tomas Surovy: three-game point streak (Oct. 23-29, 2+5=7).

INDIVIDUAL LEAGUE LEADERS (all stats as of 10/31)

Erik Christensen is third in the AHL with 19 points, is tied for third with nine goals, is tied for fourth with 10 assists, is tied for eighth with six power-play assists and is tied for ninth with a plus-7 rating.

Marc-Andre Fleury is first in the league with a 1.17 goals against average (seven goals against/360 minutes played), is first with a .955 save percentage (seven goals against/155 shots) and is first with six wins.

Ryan Whintey is tied for eighth overall with 14 points, tied for eighth with nine assists, first with three game-winning goals, tied for fourth with seven power-play assists and tied for ninth with a plus-7 rating. Whitney also leads all defensemen with 14 points and five goals, and is tied for second with nine assists.

Michel Ouellet is tied for fifth with 16 points, tied for 11th with six goals, tied for fourth with 10 assists and tied for second with a plus-10 rating.

Dany Sabourin is seventh overall with a .926 save percentage (eight goals against/108 shots) and is 13th with a 2.60 goals against average.

Daniel Carcillo is tied for fifth among rookies with nine points and is tied for fourth with six assists. Carcillo is tied for 13th overall with a plus-6 rating.

Noah Welch is first overall with a plus-11 rating.

Ryan Lannon is tied for second with a plus-10 rating.

Tomas Surovy is fourth with a plus-9 rating.

Alain Nasreddine and Matt Hussey are tied for fifth overall with plus-8 ratings.

TEAM LEAGUE LEADERS (all stats as of 10/31)

Power-Play - the Penguins rank fourth overall with a 24.1 success rate (14 goals/58 chances).

Penalty Killing - the Penguins are seventh overall at 88.5% (nine goals against/78 times shorthanded).

MILESTONES

Ryan Lannon netted his first career goal in Friday night's win against the Hershey Bears - a shorthanded tally.

Alain Nasreddine appeared in his 100th game with the Penguins in Saturday night's win against the Syracuse Crunch.
