
Bruins host Norfolk Friday

The P-Bruins will open up this weekend's action at home at the Dunkin' Donuts Center, Friday, November 4 versus the Norfolk Admirals, at 7:05 p.m. Saturday, the Bruins travel to the Hartford Civic Center to take on the Wolf Pack at 7:00 p.m. and Sunday face the Portland Pirates at the Cumberland County Civic Center beginning at 4:05 p.m.
Head coach Scott Gordon's club has had key contributions from its power play this season to go with strong offensive performances from veteran forwards Eric Healey and Eric Nickulas and rookie Tyler Redenbach. The P-Bruins have scored eight of their 19 goals on the power play, while averaging 3.80 goals per game, which is fifth best in the league. Healey continues to lead the Bruins in scoring with ten points (4g, 6a) after picking up an assist this weekend. Nickulas has seven points (3g, 4a), including an assist on Saturday, while Redenbach has scored six points (2g, 4a), including a two-point night Friday against Hartford.
C Nathan Robinson continued his strong play with a two point game Friday night versus Hartford. Robinson caused a 2-on-1 breakaway, which led to the Bruins first goal and then scored the second. Zdenek Blatny had assists on both of the Bruins goals versus Hartford for a total of four points on the season. Saturday versus Lowell, rookie C Ben Walter scored his first professional goal.
