Polak back in Iowa

DES MOINES, IA - Iowa Stars Director of Hockey Operations Scott White announced today that the Dallas Stars have reassigned forward Vojtech Polak (VOY-ta POH-lahk) to the American Hockey League (AHL) club.

The Czechoslovakian-born Polak made his NHL debut on October 22nd against the Calgary Flames. He skated in three games while recalled to Dallas. The 6-0, 183 pound forward has appeared in four games this season for Iowa and is tied for fourth on the team with four points, (2/2/4), including one goal and two assists in the Stars first-ever win on October 16th.

Polak recorded five points, including three assists in six games with Dallas in the exhibition season: (6/2/3/5). He was selected in the second round of the 2003 NHL Entry Draft, 36th overall, by Dallas.
