OTTAWA - The Ottawa Senators today assigned right-winger Brandon Bochenski to the club's American Hockey League affiliate, the Binghamton Senators.

The 23-year-old NHL rookie recorded one goal and four assists playing in his, and the Senators', first 10 games of the season. Bochenski also had 22 shots and a +4 in the plus-minus rating.

Bochenski, a native of Blaine, Minn., returns to Binghamton where last season he finished fourth in team scoring and won the AHL rookie scoring race with 70 points (34 goals, 36 assists). His efforts earned him a spot on the 2004-05 AHL All-Rookie Team and the PlanetUSA roster at the 2005 AHL All-Star Classic in Manchester, N.H.

Binghamton won its first game of the season on Sunday in Lowell, Mass., 3-2 over the Lock Monsters. The B-Sens' record stands at 1-5-1-0.

Binghamton's next game is Saturday, Nov. 5, when the Rochester Americans visit Binghamton. Call (607) 722-SENS for ticket information.
