Van Buskirk Called Up to Wolves

The Gwinnett Gladiators announced today that defenseman Ryan Van Buskirk has been called up to the Chicago Wolves of the American Hockey League.
The defenseman ranked 3rd in scoring among defensemen with the Gladiators posting 1 goal and 8 assists for 9 points in 19 games with the Gladiators this season.
Van Buskirk appeared 27 games last season for the Eastern Conference Champion Florida Everblades.
The 6-foot-2, 215-pound defenseman makes his fifth trip to the American Hockey League having appeared in 63 AHL games from 1999-00 through 2002-03 with the Springfield Falcons and Portland Pirates.
Van Buskirk should be available for the Wolves 8 p.m. contest tonight against the Milwaukee Admirals.
