Chiefs Win Third Straight in Brawl Filled Game

Johnstown, PA- The Johnstown Chiefs picked up their third straight win Saturday night as they defeated the visiting Dayton Bombers 3-1 at the War Memorial Arena in a brawl filled game. The two teams combined for 157 PIM. 119 of those PIM were in the third period.

Joe Tallari, Chad Cavanagh and Jean Desrochers all scored for the Chiefs. Scott Cameron scored the only goal for Dayton in the first period.

Chiefs goaltender David Cann made 36 saves for his 3rd win of the season. Dayton goaltender Michael Ayers made 20 saves.

The Chiefs are now 10-5-8 on the season. Dayton is now 9-15-1.

The Chiefs are back in action tomorrow afternoon at 3:00 p.m. when they host the Atlantic City Boardwalk Bullies. Santa Claus will be attendance at the game and available for pictures. The next designated sellout night sponsored by "Your Neighborhood Ford Store," is New Years Eve when the Chiefs host the Toledo Storm at 6:00 p.m. New Years Day the Chiefs host the Fresno Falcons at 7:00 p.m. Tickets for all home games are available at the War Memorial box office, or by calling (814) 536-5156 or 1-800-CHF-TIXX.
