Clinton LumberKings News Release

Clinton, IA - The Midwest League released the 2015 All-Star Classic rosters Thursday afternoon for both the Eastern and Western teams. Two Clinton players were selected, as Estarlyn Morales will start in the outfield while Lukas Schiraldi will pitch out of the bullpen.

Morales, the 22-year-old outfielder from the Dominican Republic, has hit .252 with three home runs over his first 46 games at the full season level. The outfielder is second on the Clinton roster in RBIs with 28 and is tied for the team lead in stolen bases. Morales will join Caleb Adams of Burlington and Colin Bray of Kane County in the starting outfield for the Western team.

Schiraldi, 21, will pitch out of the bullpen for the West. The Austin, Texas native is 4-3 with a 3.69 ERA over his first 10 Midwest League starts. Schiraldi has back-to-back outings in which he's allowed only one earned run in over at least six innings pitched, and has his ERA at its lowest point that it has been at in 2015. Schiraldi is 2-0 with a 1.04 ERA over his last four starts.

The 51st MWL All-Star Classic will be held at Dozer Park in Peoria, Illinois on June 23rd. Peoria manager Joe Kruzel will lead the Western Division team, while Lake County manager Shaun Larkin will manage the Eastern club.
