
Five Bees Named to All-Star Game

(Lansing-MI)- The 2015 Midwest League All-Star Classic rosters were announced today, as five players, Jeremy Rhoades, Natanael Delgado, Caleb Adams, Andrew Daniel and Jake Yacinich will represent the Bees, in Peoria on June 23rd.
The Bees' lone pitcher to be named to the All-Star Classic, Jeremy Rhoades, has been a key contributer in the starting rotation this season, appearing in nine games, making nine starts, with a record of 4-3 and a 3.17 ERA as of June 4th. The fourth rounder in 2014, pitched seven not hit innings in a start on May 13th, in Kane County, against the Kane County Cougars.
Two Burlington Bees will roam the outfield at the 51st annual MWL All-Star Classic. Caleb Adams has been the Bees' leading hitter this season, batting .311 in 49 games as of June 4th. The Louisiana-Lafayette product has drove in 20 runs this season and leads the team in walks with 30. Natanael Delgado will join Adams in the outfield, in Peoria with a .281 batting average with seven doubles, two triples, two home runs and 25 runs batted in.
Middle infielders, Jake Yacinich and Andrew Daniel round out the list of Bees' All-Stars. Yacinich earns a spot in the MWL All-Star Classic, hitting .302 in 31 games as the Bees' starting shortstop and drove in 11 runs. The Des Moines native was drafted in the eighth round out of the University of Iowa. Daniel leads the Bees in both home runs, with seven and RBIs with 33, and is currently hitting .255.
The Peoria Chiefs are hosting the 51st Midwest League All-Star Classic on June 23, 2015 at Dozer Park in Peoria, Illinois.
