
Three Snappers Named to 2015 Midwest League All-Star Roster

BELOIT, Wisc.- The Beloit Snappers are proud to announce that there will be three players that were selected as Midwest League All-Stars and will represent the Western Division. Sandber Pimentel, Brett Graves, and Yairo Munoz will travel to Peoria, Illinois to take on the Eastern Division Midwest League All-Stars on June 23rd.
Pimentel was selected as the starter for the Western Division at the designated hitter position. Currently, he is tied for first in the Midwest League with nine home runs. The 20 year old from the Dominican Republic is batting .268 on the season with a .488 slugging percentage and 25 RBI. Also, he is 2nd in the Midwest League in HR/AB ratio with 1/18.67.
Munoz will be a reserve on the All-Star squad. The Snappers' 20 year old shortstop, also from the Dominican Republic, has six homers, seven doubles, three triples, six stolen bases, and 29 RBI while batting .282 for Beloit.
Graves is the only Snappers' pitcher selected to this year's All-Star game. He is 5-0 in 11 starts with a 4.58 ERA in 57 innings pitched.
