- Shane Conacher recorded his second goal in a Marlies uniform, opening the scoring 33 seconds into the first period.
- Mark Arcobello scored his team leading 25th goal of the season 4:45 into the third period.
- Willie Corrin recorded his first professional point, assisting on the Marlies third period goal.
- Josh Leivo extends his point streak to six games with his third period assist. Through the six game streak Leivo has recorded eight points.
- Colin Smith assisted on the opening tally, extending his point streak to three games.
- Kasimir Kaskisuo turned aside 22 shots and 4 shots in the shootout in the losing effort.
NOTABLES
- This is the first time this season the Marlies did not allow an opposing team a powerplay opportunity.
- This marks the first shootout loss for the Marlies this season. The Crunch shootout goal was the first goal allowed by the Marlies in a shootout this season.
