Binghamton Senators News Release

BINGHAMTON, N.Y. - The Binghamton Senators scored two power-play goals over the middle frame to hand a 2-1 decision to the Albany Devils on Saturday night. Max McCormick and Casey Bailey scored a goal a piece while Jerome Leduc picked up two assists to help lead the B-Sens offense.

Following a scoreless first period, McCormick made work of a high stick call against the Devils and scored his 13th goal of the season just over two minutes into the second period. The visitors answered back after Graham Black put his 7th of the year past Matt O'Connor just ten minutes later, but the tie would not make it to the final period. After a perfect set up from Leduc, Bailey knocked home his 10th goal just seven seconds into the power-play opportunity to give the B-Sens the 2-1 lead heading into the final intermission.

O'Connor held off the final 11 Albany chances in the third period to preserve the one-goal lead and make it two-in-a-row for Binghamton.

O'Connor stopped 36 total shots to earn the win while Yann Danis had 18 saves in the losing effort.

The B-Sens and the Devils have a rematch and their final meeting of the year in Albany on Wednesday, April 13, at 7:00p.m. Fans can listen live on 1430 The Team or on the iHeart Radio app.
