
Titans To Host 2nd Annual "Time With a Titan" Auction

TRENTON, NJ - The Trenton Titans announced today that they will be hosting their 2nd annual "Time with a Titan" Auction to benefit the Somerset Home for Temporarily Displaced Children on Saturday, January 10, 2004. The event will take place on-ice after the 7:00pm game against the Dayton Bombers at Sovereign Bank Arena.
"We are very excited about the 2nd annual 'Time with a Titan' auction. It's a fun event that give fans an opportunity to not only spend time with their favorite player, but to also help out homeless and abused youth," said Jeffrey Fetzko, Executive Director of the Somerset Home. "We are very grateful to the Trenton Titans for organizing this event on our behalf."
Somerset Home supporters and Titans fans will be able to bid on the opportunity to have dinner with their favorite Titans player. The highest bidder of the evening also gets the special bonus of being signed as a Titans' player for a day. The player of the day will get to sign their own contract, get paid an ECHL player salary, have a press release announcing their signing, be introduced with the team during a game and sit in a special bench-side seat.
"We, as an organization, are extremely proud to be a part of this event," said Titans President and General Manager, Rich Lisk. "The 'Time with a Titan" Auction has proved wildly successful for the fans and extremely beneficial for the Somerset Home."
The dinner with the Titans will take place on Tuesday, January 13, 2004 at Triumph Brewing Company in New Hope, PA.

The Trenton Titans are offering $8.50 game tickets to all fans that order tickets for the "Time with a Titan" Auction. The Titans take on the Johnstown Chiefs at Sovereign Bank Arena on Wednesday, January 7 at 7:00pm. The Somerset Home, incorporated in 1970, is an agency dedicated to meeting the needs of abused and neglected adolescents. Somerset Home offers a range of programs including the Somerset Youth Shelter, Pathways Life Skills Education and Outreach, and the Passages Transitional Living Program. The Butterfly Foundation - The Brittany Pasqual Pediatric Oncology Research Foundation was created in 2002 in memory of four year old Brittany Pasqual who succumbed to a rare pediatric cancer called neuroblastoma. In an effort to eliminate pediatric cancers, The Butterfly Foundation is dedicated to: investigating and discovering the causes of pediatric cancer, developing effective strategies to prevent pediatric cancer and educating and empowering those who are dealing with pediatric cancer through advocacy programs.
