Doell Recalled to Chicago

The Gwinnett Gladiators announced today that rookie forward Kevin Doell has been recalled by the Gladiators AHL affiliate the Chicago Wolves.

Doell becomes the third player called up to the Gladiators AHL affiliate, the Chicago Wolves, following Anthony Aquino and Evan Neilsen.

Under contract to the Wolves, the Saskatoon, Saskatchewan native attended the Atlanta Thrasher training camp this season before being assigned to the Gladiators on October 16th.

In 34 games with the Gladiators, Doell leads Gwinnett in scoring with 35 points off of 13 goals and 22 assists and currently has a seven game point scoring streak dating back to December 20th.

Doell should be available for the Wolves 7:00 p.m. Wednesday evening match up against the Utah Grizzlies in Chicago.
