
Generals Ready for Bullies on "Pack the House" Night

GREENSBOROâWhen the Greensboro Generals take on the Atlantic City Boardwalk Bullies this Saturday at 7:30 p.m., last season's biggest nemesis, fans and local businesses will have an extra incentive to come out and cheer on the Generals as they host the "Pack the House" night.
"Pack the House" presents fans and local businesses with the opportunity to purchase group tickets at a discounted rate, to show appreciation for employees. For the opportunity to purchase group tickets, please contact Brian Cox at the Greensboro Generals offices (336) 373-7478. Patrons who purchase individual tickets in advance at the Coliseum Box Office will receive $2 off your ticket, as well as free parking at the Greensboro Coliseum. All student and senior tickets will be $5. Family four-packs are also available for $30 (four tickets, four small Pepsi's and four hot dogs).
During the game, Generals fans will have an opportunity to give back to the community, in a raffle to benefit the Victory Junction Gang Camp. Victory Junction Gang Camp is designed for children who suffer from various diseases including asthma, diabetes, cancer, etc. The camp is located in Randleman in honor of the late Adam Petty. Tickets for the raffle, sponsored by Petty Enterprises, are $5.00 and all proceeds will be donated to the Victory Junction Gang. Prizes include free Chick-Fil-A of a year and generals tickets.
Fans in attendance for "Pack the House Night" will receive prizes at the door, which includes:
- First 1,000 fans will receive a Hanes Tagless T-Shirt.
- First 1,000 fans receive a 2004 ACC Women's Tournament stress basketball.
- First 2,000 fans will receive a free chicken sandwich coupon from Chick-Fil-A.
- Post-game autograph session, sponsored by Hanes Tagless Tees, with player's on-hand following the game to sign autographs for the fans.
Among the numerous in-game promotions and activities, fans may enjoy :
- The Greensboro Generals Ice Girls will perform during the first period.
- Jack Astor's shoot to win, that will give fans an opportunity to win a $25 Jack Astor's gift certificate.
- The Greensboro Youth Hockey Association with two teams represented for an exhibition game during the first intermission.
- Time-Warner Cable will be giving away folding chairs; t-shirts; and free movie passes that can be used for pay-per-view events.
- Chick-Fil-A will sponsor a hot & cold contest during the second intermission, in which fans will have an opportunity to win Chick-Fil-A for a year.
- The United Health Group will have an inter-office game of broomball.
- Fans can also purchase Chuck-A-Puck's for prizes distributed following the contest (passes to Consolidated Theater's as well lift tickets to Sugar Mountain Ski resort in Boone).
