
Pride to Scoop Ice Cream for Charity

FLORENCE, SC â The Florence Pride, proud members of the ECHL, announced today that the team will hold a fund-raiser for the Florence Family YMCA on Monday, January 12 at Cold Stone Creamery, located at 1939 W. Palmetto St.
Cold Stone Creamery will donate a portion of the days' sales to the Florence Family YMCA. Pride players will be at Cold Stone from 6:00-8:00 p.m. to mix ice cream and meet fans.
"The Florence Family YMCA does a lot for the community, and we are thrilled to be able to help them with this promotion," Pride Director of Promotions and Community Relations Katie Huemmer said. "We are hoping that all of our fans are able to stop by Cold Stone Creamery at some point during the day to help up raise a lot of money for the YMCA and their programs."
The Pride play three games in three days this weekend. Friday night, they host the Florida Everblades at 7:30 p.m. After traveling to South Carolina for a Saturday match-up with the Stingrays, the Pride are back home Sunday afternoon for a 2:30 matinee against the Toledo Storm. Sunday is season-ticket-holder redemption day, allowing Pride season-ticket holders to redeem unused tickets in exchange for free 400-level tickets. Sunday is also Sunday Kids' Day. Tickets for kids 12 and under are available for just $2.50, and kids' meals will be available for an additional $2.50.
