Short-Stoppers

Once again the Trenton PK unit rose up to the challenge, pitching on 0-for-3 shutout against a dangerous Elmira PP attack. Thanks to that, the Titans now have the best PK unit in the league at 86.4% (140 kills-162 Opps). They continue to get it done in any venue as well, tied for 3rd at home in the ECHL (88.9, 72-81) and 5th on the road (84, 68-81).

DID YOU KNOW?

CIN is no slouch on the PK itself, holding an 84.4 kill rate (T-5th, 130-154), but it isn't as strong on the road, stopping with just a 79.7 success rate (13th).

CIN also is doing more damage even strength than on its own PP. Currently tied for 19th in the league (14.7, 27-184), just 22% of its offense (121 goals).

The last 8-goal output for Trenton (after last night's 8-5 win)? The last game in Elmira last year (Feb 18), an 8-1 win. J.S. Breube had a hat trick for the Titans. In his last two games there, the Titans have scored 16 goals (both wins).
