Tonight's Matchup: The San Francisco Bulls (13-20-1-4) are back in action tonight when they take on the Stockton Thunder (21-13-4-3) at the Cow Palace. This is the second game of a three-in-three series between the Bulls and Thunder, and the sixth of thirteen meetings on the season. San Francisco continues to lead the season series 3-2-0-0. The Bulls look to bounce back against the Thunder tonight at home after being defeated last night.
Friday night's match up saw the Bulls fall to the Thunder 5-2 at Stockton Arena. The Thunder out-shot the Bulls 33-27 on the night. Yannick Riendeau scored twice in the first period, 23 seconds apart to help lead Stockton. Peter Sivak and Dean Ouellet scored for the Bulls. Sivak has goals in four straight games.
With all of the new additions the Bulls begin to adjust to their revamped lineup. Newly acquired Christian Ouellet, Rylan Galiardi, Cody Carlson, and Sebastian Trudeau made their debuts on Friday. Rylan Galiardi is already fitting right in, posting two assists in his first game.
San Francisco's Scott Langdon returns to the lineup tonight after serving his two-game suspension for an illegal hit to the head against Idaho's Mathieu Tousignant last Thursday. Langdon leads the team in plus/minus with +13. Rob Kwiet continues to perform well after the departure of Sacha Guimond, notching another assist tonight, giving him 17 on the season.
Stockton remains in fourth place in the Western Division with 49 points, just four points behind the Idaho Steelheads. San Francisco remains in eighth place with 31 points, six points ahead of last place Bakersfield.
Tonight the first 2,000 fans, 13 and over, receive an Orange Bulls Hat, courtesy of Seton Medical Center.
