Dawson Butt put the Silvertips up 1-0, picked up from forward Akash Bains' pass from defenseman Kyle Walker. Butt's wrist shot from the right circles beat Kamloops goaltender Dylan Ferguson, blocker side at 8:42.

It wasn't long before Blazers six-foot-six defenseman Joonas Sillanpaa tied the game at 11:39, with a shot from the blue line that sailed through traffic, assisted by Kamloops forward and former Silvertip Orrin Centazzo.

Sutter regained the Everett lead at 18:56 with a backhand shot in front of the crease assisted by defenseman Gianni Fairbrother, who intercepted a clearing pass at the blueline.

The second period started with two Kamloops penalties (Sillanpaa, tripping at 3:46 and Brodi Stuart, slashing at 4:44), to set up a five-on-three advantage, where Sutter deflected the puck into the net off a point shot from defenseman Jake Christiansen for a 3-1 lead.

After Dustin Wolf made a highlight reel save to the glove side post on Orrin Centazzo's backhander, the Blazers Ryley Appelt received a game misconduct for a checking to the head penalty on Jackson Berezowski, at 13:34, and the Tips embarked on three power play goals during the five-minute major sequence.

Connor Dewar and the Silvertips power play unit made the game 4-1 at 13:41, with a wrist shot from the right circle, assisted by Christiansen and defenseman Wyatte Wylie. Just 1:10 later, Ian Walker extended the Silvertips lead to 5-1 with a one-timer roofed in the top right corner off a pass from Fasko-Rudas and Dawson Butt at 14:51 in the second.

Kamloops replaced Ferguson with 2002-born goaltender Dylan Garand at 14:51 in the second.

Sahvan Khaira netted his first goal as a Silvertip off a bouncing puck from the boards at 17:39 for the third power play goal on the major, assisted by forward Reece Vitelli and Ian Walker.

The Blazers continued to take penalties as forward Kobe Mohr was called for roughing after the buzzer signaling the end of the second period. In the third, Luke Zazula received a 10-minute misconduct and Zane Franklin was called for kneeing at 3:32. That sequent of Blazer penalties gave the Silvertips power play another opportunity, where Wyatte Wylie scored the game's eighth goal of the game at 4:26 on a tap in at the net, assisted by Sutter and Christiansen. The goal tied a Tips record with five power play goals in the game.

Martin Lang cut the Silvertip lead to 7-2 at 5:22 in the third, but the Tips closed out the game for their third win in the four game homestand.
