ICE Fall 2-1 in OT to Cougars

Cranbrook, B.C. - The Kootenay ICE wrapped up its weekend with a 2-1 overtime loss to the visiting Prince George Cougars on Sunday afternoon.

Cougars' forward Jackson Leppard opened the scoring mid-way through the second period, but that was answered by ICE forward Peyton Krebs early in the final frame. Despite firing 21 shots on net in the third period, the ICE couldn't take the lead and overtime was needed. Ilijah Colina netted the winner to give the Cougars the two-points.
