Cranbrook, B.C. - The Kootenay ICE (3-3-0-1) host the Prince George Cougars (3-5-0-1) for the first and only time this season.
Puck drop is scheduled for 4 p.m. MT.

The ICE are coming off of a 4-3 shootout loss to the Medicine Hat Tigers on Saturday, October 13. Davis Murray, Jaeger White and Jakin Smallwood picked up the goals for the ICE, while goaltender Jesse Makaj stopped 25-of-28 shots. Smallwood's third period goal was the first of his WHL career. He would finish the game with two points (1G, 1A) and would also receive second star honours. The ICE outshot Medicine Hat 35-28. The ICE went 0-for-4 on the power play, 5-for-6 on the penalty kill and won 29-of-70 face-offs.
The ICE have amassed seven points this season, which is good for fifth in the Central Division and ninth in the Eastern Conference.
The ICE have a home record of 3-2-0-0 and a road record of 0-1-0-1.

The Prince George Cougars wrap up a three-game road trip against the ICE on Sunday, October 14. Sunday's game will also be the third-game in three-days for the Cougars. The last time the Cougars played in Cranbrook was October 26, 2016, in what turned out to be a 5-2 victory for the visitors. The Cougars are coming off of a 6-5 shootout victory over the Lethbridge Hurricanes on Saturday, October 13. Josh Curtis and Cole Moberg picked up two goals each while Vladislav Mikhalchuk and Rhett Rhinehart each collected two assists. Goaltender Isaiah DiLaura stopped 49-of-54 shots that came his way. The Cougars were outshot 54-30. They went 1-for-3 on the power play, 5-for-7 on the penalty kill and won 26-of-78 face-offs.
The Cougars have collected seven points this season, which is good for third in the B.C. Division and sixth in the Western Conference.
The Cougars have a home record of 1-3-0-0 and a road record of 2-2-0-1
HEAD TO HEAD
This is the first and only meeting of the season between the ICE and the Cougars.
The last time these two teams met - on December 5, 2017 -, the Cougars skated away with a 3-1 victory on home ice. The Cougars haven't played a game at Western Financial Place since October 2016.
