The TinCaps (24-25) raced out to a 5-0 lead before needing to hold on late.
Left fielder Michael Curry opened the scoring in the top of the first inning with a two-out, two-run double. Center fielder Jawuan Harris added an RBI double in the second to make it 3-0. In the fifth, designated hitter Agustin Ruiz ripped a two-run single to expand the lead to 5-0.
