The lead didn't last long as the Hot Rods struck on Nommensen's two-run triple to retake the lead at 5-4.

Bowling Green blew it open in the top of the ninth, scoring four times. Nommensen again came up with the key hit, another two-run triple.

Down 9-4 in the ninth, Jason Hagerty clubbed his second double of the night to lead off. He later scored on Jonathan Galvez's RBI double.
