Eric Oliver rejoins Kernels from Rancho Cucamonga

Cedar Rapids, IA - The Cedar Rapids Kernels and Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim announce that OF Eric Oliver has rejoined the Kernels from Rancho Cucamonga. Abe Flores, Director of Player Development for the LA Angels, announced the move on Tuesday.
Oliver was assigned to Rancho back on May 27. In 43 games for the Quakes, he was hitting .293 with four HR and 26 RBI. Eric was a member of the Kernels' 2010 Opening Day Roster and played in 37 games, hitting .238 with two HR and 17 RBI.
With today's transaction, the Kernels roster is at the MWL maximum of 25, with two players currently on the disabled list.
The Kernels continue a seven game home stand tonight against the Beloit Snappers on 98.1 KHAK Two Dollar Tuesday and KRAFT Singles Tuesday Night Tickets. Gates open at 5:30 and first pitch is set for 6:35 pm. Tickets may be purchased on-line at www.kernels.com, or by calling the Kernels Ticket Office at 896-7560. Ticket office hours are 10 am to 5 pm, Monday through Friday, and 10 am to 2 pm on Saturday.
