
Thunder Add Lemay Ahead of Weekend Series vs. Allen

Wichita, KS - The Wichita Thunder, proud member of the ECHL and powered by Toyota, announced that the team has signed goaltender Adrien Lemay ahead of the team's weekend set against the Allen Americans
Lemay, 26, makes his second attempt at the pro ranks after going back to school for the last four years. He turned pro during the 2009-10 season, appearing in two games for the Florida Everblades. The following season, he attended the Dallas Stars development camp before being assigned to the Texas Stars of the American Hockey League (AHL).
A native of Moncton, New Brunswick, the 6-foot, 171-pounder played in 20 games for the Allen Americans during the 2010-11 campaign, going 12-4-1 with a goals-against average of 3.31 and a save percentage of .887. He also spent time with the Idaho Steelheads that same season. Lemay played the last four years at the University of Moncton of the CIS.
Wichita begins a three-in-three this weekend against the Allen Americans starting tonight at 7:05 p.m.
