
Petrecki Signs PTO with Chicago Wolves

INDIANAPOLIS - The American Hockey League's Chicago Wolves announced today that they have signed Indy Fuel assistant captain Nick Petrecki to a professional tryout contract.
Acquired by the Fuel earlier this season from the Elmira Jackals, the 6-3, 240 lb. defenseman has appeared in 18 games with Indy, posting two goals and seven points including the game-winning goal versus Cincinnati on February 6. Petrecki has 313 games of AHL experience with the Worcester Sharks, Rochester Americans and Hartford Wolf*Pack and made his NHL debut with the San Jose Sharks in the 2012-13 season. He won the Yannick Dupree Memoria Award as AHL Man of the Year while with Worcester in 2011-12.
Indy will now head to Cincinnati to play the Cyclones on Saturday night at 7:35 pm and then to Toledo for a Sunday matinee against the Walleye at 5:05 pm. The next Fuel home game will be Friday, March 4th against the Utah Grizzlies at 7:35 pm.
