BRAMPTON, ONTARIO - The Brampton Beast, ECHL affiliate of the St. John's IceCaps and Montreal Canadiens, announce today that Rice Development, in conjunction with the Beast, has donated $2,000 to Regeneration Brampton, a community outreach program that offers a variety of services to the homeless and the less fortunate.

Rice Development and the Brampton Beast partnered on November 22 as the Beast hosted the Fort Wayne Komets in support of Regeneration Brampton.

Rice Development and the Beast also contributed to Regeneration's Sock Drive during the game on November 22 and asked fans to donate new socks to help the cause.

Along with the Sock Drive, Rice Development allowed the opportunity for over 150 individuals from Regeneration Brampton to attend the game.

Beast Vice President of Sales and Marketing, Mike Miele, was on hand for today's cheque presentation and is proud to not only support a great organization like Regeneration Brampton, but proud to be a partner of Rice Development.

"It's an honour to team up with one of our great corporate partners in Rice Development on this initiative," Miele said.

"Regeneration Brampton is an organization that does incredible things for our community at large and it's a great feeling to be able to support such an important organization alongside a partner that has supported us all season."
