Las Vegas Wranglers News Release
Las Vegas - The Las Vegas Wranglers announced today that three Wranglers players have been named to the All-ECHL First and Second teams. Center Eric Lampe has been named a First Team forward, left wing Adam Miller has been named a Second Team forward, and goaltender Joe Fallon has been named Second Team goalie.
Determined in a vote by ECHL coaches, broadcasters, media relations directors and media, players named to these two teams represent the best in the league. Las Vegas led the All-ECHL First and Second Team rosters with three players being voted to the teams.
Lampe, 25, leads the ECHL with 36 goals and is tied for first with seven game-winning goals. He ranks 12th in the league with 63 points (36 goals, 27 assists) in 50 games, and was called up to the American Hockey League twice this season. Most recently, Lampe played in 13 games for the AHL's Hamilton Bulldogs, collecting two goals and one assist.
Miller, 27, ranks second in the league with 80 points (23 goals, 58 assists) in 69 games. Now in his third season with Las Vegas, Miller holds Wranglers club records for longest goal-scoring streak (8 games), longest assist-scoring streak (8 games), most points in a season (86 in 2009-10) and most assists in a season (53 in 2009-10). Earlier this month, Miller registered an assist against the Ontario Reign for his 207th point as a Las Vegas Wrangler, setting a new club record for career points.
Fallon, 27, is tied for first in the ECHL with 30 wins this season after appearing in 47 games for Las Vegas, giving him a 2.39 goals-against average and a 0.912 save percentage. He appeared in 17 straight games for the Wranglers to start 2012 and went 12-4-0 during that streak. Called up to the AHL twice this season, Fallon is currently with the Houston Aeros, going 5-2-0 in nine games and being named AHL Player of the Week for the week of March 12-18, 2012.
