End of Season Party with the Team, Monday, April 2
March 29, 2012 - ECHL (ECHL)
Bakersfield Condors News Release
CONDORSTOWN, Calif. - The Bakersfield Condors announced today the details for a final party with the team. The event, which is open to all ticket plan holders, will be held at the Bakersfield Marriott at the Convention Center on Monday, Apr. 2 from 6 - 8 p.m.
The players, coaches, staff and front office will all be in attendance, and the event is free. There will be games, such as the Condors Slap Shot and Prize Wheel, as well as light refreshments and complimentary pizza and wings while quantities last. There will also be a bar for the adults. Kids can entertain themselves with the mini-floor hockey and a bounce house, and also take on their favorite Condors in a game of NHL 12 on Xbox 360. For those bracket-watchers, the NCAA National Men's Basketball Championship Game will also be played on televisions.
Fans will get a free Team Photo (while supplies last), taken earlier this week of the current Condors squad, perfect for last-minute autographs from the team. There will also be a raffle at the party, featuring custom Condors items and a warm up jersey from this season.
"We've never done an end of the season party like this before, and we're excited," said Condors President Matthew Riley. "We had such a great response last season with the All-Star Fan Fest that we wanted to capture that spirit for a Condors Fan Fest for our season ticket holders. So come out and hang out with the players and send them into the off-season on a high note."
Street Hockey Stick & Puck Set Friday, Ben 10 and NASCAR's Ryan Reed Saturday night
On Friday night the Condors host the Utah Grizzlies at 7 p.m. and the first 2,000 fans, 12 and under, will receive a street hockey stick and puck set courtesy of ABC 23, HOT 94.1 FM and the Three Way Automotive Group.
The Condors conclude the regular season on Saturday at 7 p.m. against the Grizzlies as Cartoon Network's Ben 10 will make an appearance in the Condors photo booth. Also, Bakersfield native and NASCAR driver Ryan Reed will bring his race car before the game and will take pictures with fans during the game. Don't miss out on your last chance to catch the Condors this season presented by Bright House Networks, 101.5 KGFM, and Farmers Insurance.
