Single-Game Playoff Tickets on Sale Friday
March 29, 2012 - ECHL (ECHL)
Idaho Steelheads News Release
(Boise, ID) - The Idaho Steelheads announced Thursday that single-game tickets for the upcoming ECHL Kelly Cup Playoffs, presented by Key Bank, will go on sale Friday morning at 10 AM at the CenturyLink Arena box office with two great offers for fans.
First, any fan who purchases a walk-up ticket for either of Idaho's final two home games of the regular season will receive a free ticket to Idaho's playoff opener on either Monday or Tuesday night. The offer is valid for fans who purchase in the P1 or P2 price scale and the free ticket will be in the P4 seating area of CenturyLink Arena.
Idaho wraps up the regular season with home games Friday and Saturday night against the Stockton Thunder. Game time each night is 7 PM at CenturyLink Arena.
The second offer is for fans who visit the arena's box office on Friday or Saturday morning to purchase playoff tickets. Fans who buy a ticket to Game 1 of Idaho's opening-round playoff series will receive a ticket to Game 2 of the series for free. That offer is only valid at the CenturyLink Arena box office and is not available online or over the phone.
The Steelheads are still waiting to learn who their first-round opponent will be in the postseason - either the Las Vegas Wranglers or the Ontario Reign - and won't know exactly which days they will play until they know who they'll face off with.
If Idaho faces Las Vegas: The best-of-five, first-round series would open on Monday at CenturyLink Arena, with Game 2 coming on Tuesday night before shifting to Las Vegas for the remaining games of the series. Idaho opened the playoffs against Las Vegas last season, eliminating the Wranglers in a game-five victory on the road at the Orleans Arena.
If Idaho faces Ontario: The best-of-five, first-round series would open on Tuesday at CenturyLink Arena, with Game 2 coming on Wendesday night before shifting to Ontario for the remaining games of the series. Idaho and Ontario have never met in postseason play.
Can't get enough playoff hockey? Try the Steelheads' "Pay as We Play" option, where fans can secure the same great seats for all of the team's home contests in the postseason. Contact the Steelheads front office at 208.383.0080 or log on to www.idahosteelheads.com for more information.
