
Three Aces Recognized by League

Alaska Aces Defenseman Bryan Miller, forward Dan Kissel, and Head Coach Rob Murray were all recognized as members of the All-ECHL Team, the Aces and the ECHL announced on Thursday. Miller and Murray were named to the All-ECHL First Team, while Kissel was named to the All-ECHL Second team. The Aces now head to Ontario this weekend to complete the final weekend of the regular season. The Aces will return back home to host Games 1 and 2 of the Conference Semifinals. Miller is tied for fourth among defensemen with 44 points (10g, 34a) is tied for third with seven power-play goals and is third with 23 power-play points. He is the only Ace to appear in all 70 of the team's games this season. Last season Miller - the longest tenured Aces player - was named to the All-ECHL Second Team.
In his first season as head coach of Alaska, Rob Murray has led the Aces to their sixth division title and fifth regular season conference title in nine ECHL seasons. He has the Aces on the verge of the league title with the Aces one win away from clinching the Brabham Cup.
Kissel ranks second in the ECHL with 35 goals and is tied for seventh with 67 points. He is tied for second in the league with 268 shots and is tied for seventh with 10 power-play goals. Kissel also saw action in two games with Bridgeport of the American Hockey League.
