Three River Rats Re-Assigned by New Jersey

Albany N.Y. – The New Jersey Devils today re-assigned three players from the Albany River Rats to the ECHL. The announcement was made by Devils' CEO/ President/General Manager Lou Lamoriello.

Re-assigned were goaltender Matus Kostur (Columbus Cottonmouths), along with forwards Scott Cameron and Brett Clouthier (Cincinnati Cyclones). Kostur did not play in any games for Albany this season, while Cameron was scoreless with one shot on goal in two games, and Clouthier went scoreless with 10 penalty minutes in three contests.

The River Rats return to action this weekend with a pair of games against the Binghamton Senators. The East Division rivals will face-off on Friday and Saturday nights at 7:05pm from the Broome County Veterans Memorial Arena. Each contest can be heard on Moon Radio AM 1160 WABY with a simulcast available on Talk 1240 AM WVKZ. All River Rats games are also available free of charge online at www.albanyriverrats.com. Each broadcast is preceded by the Capitaland Motors GMC Pre-Game Show 15 minutes prior to the opening face-off.

The Albany River Rats, in their 11th season as a member of the American Hockey League in October, are owned and operated by Capital District Sports Inc., and serve as the primary affiliate of the Stanley Cup Champion New Jersey Devils.
