Grand Rapids, Mich. - The Grand Rapids Griffins of the American Hockey League on Monday recalled right wing Tim Skarperud from the Muskegon Fury of the United Hockey League.

After playing in the Griffins' 2-2 tie with Hamilton on Saturday, Skarperud made his UHL debut in the Fury's 4-3 win over Missouri yesterday. He notched the game-winning goal, added an assist and finished with a plus-two rating.

Skarperud, 25, has one assist and eight penalty minutes in seven games with the Griffins this season.
