
Three Moves Reshape the Iowa Roster

DES MOINES, IA - Minnesota Wild General Manager Chuck Fletcher on Monday announced the National Hockey League (NHL) club has recalled center Tyler Graovac from the Iowa Wild, Minnesota's American Hockey League affiliate. In addition, Fletcher announced the National Hockey League (NHL) club has traded forward Teemu Pulkkinen to the Arizona Coyotes for future considerations. Finally, the team also announced on Monday that forward Zac Dalpe was claimed off waivers by the Columbus Blue Jackets.
Graovac, 23, has registered six goals in 46 games with Minnesota this season. He has also notched eight points (7-18) including four power-play goals in 10 games with Iowa this season. The 6-foot-5, 212-pound native of Brampton, Ont., tallied a hat trick in his last game with Iowa on Feb. 26 at Chicago. Graovac owns six goals in 51 career NHL contests with Minnesota and has tallied 95 points (46-4995) in 186 AHL games with Iowa. Graovac was selected by the Wild in the seventh round (191st overall) of the 2011 NHL Entry Draft in Saint Paul.
Dalpe, 27, tallied three points (1-23) in nine games with Minnesota and two goals and 40 shots in 12 games with Iowa this season. He underwent arthroscopic surgery to repair a lateral meniscus tear in his right knee on Oct. 31. The 6-foot-2, 199-pound native of Paris, Ont., owns 24 points (12-1224) in 128 career NHL contests with Carolina, Vancouver, Buffalo and the Wild.
Pulkkinen, 25 (1/2/92), recorded one goal in nine games with Minnesota this season. He led Iowa in scoring at the time of the trade, posting 36 points off a team-leading 18 goals and 18 assists in 47 games. The Wild claimed Pulkkinen off of waivers from the Detroit Red Wings on Oct. 11. The 5-foot-10, 185-pound native of Vantaa, Finland, owns 21 points (12-921) in 79 career NHL contests with Detroit and Minnesota.
After a six-game road trip with stops in Chicago, Rockford, Texas and Milwaukee, Iowa returns home to play the Milwaukee Admirals on Saturday, Mar. 18 at 6 PM at Wells Fargo Arena. The St. Patrick's Day game features a postgame concert with Gaelic Storm, sponsored by 100.3 The Bus, Jim Beam and My Satellite Guy. VIP packages are available starting at $20. The first 1,500 fans to the game receive an Iowa Wild Irish themed hat, sponsored by 95 KGGO and LIUNA. In a partnership with Jim Beam and NASH FM, fans 21 and older are able to purchase the "The Big Ginger" drink special. It is also Jim Beam Night. Subway Combo Packs are available for purchase at the game. Brewdog packs are also available for purchase at the game, presented by Legends American Grill and Bud Light. The Wild will also don St. Patrick's Day themed specialty jerseys for the game. The team wears the specialty jerseys for all three home games in March, culminating with a live postgame jersey auction on Saturday, Mar. 31.

The Wells Fargo Arena box office is open Monday - Friday from 10:00 a.m. - 5:30 p.m., Saturdays from 10:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m. and closed on Sunday. For Saturday game days, the box office will open at 10 a.m. For Sunday game days the box office will open at 12 p.m. Fans may also purchase tickets by calling 1-844-55-HYVEE or by visiting participating Hy-Vee food stores locations in the greater Des Moines area.
