CONDORSTOWN, Calif. - The Bakersfield Condors announced today that C Anton Lander has been named the CCM / AHL Player of the Week for the period ending February 26, 2017. Lander had five points (2g-3a) in two games over the weekend as the Condors climbed into a playoff position. Bakersfield has won three straight and hosts Texas on Tuesday night at Rabobank Arena. * Leads the AHL in points-per-game with 1.68 and shooting percentage at 30.0% * Team leader in goals (18), plus/minus (+20), and is second on the team in scoring with 37 points (18g-19a) in 22 games * Had five points (2g-3a) on seven Condors goals including the game-tying third period goal on Friday and the game-winning third period goal on Saturday * Has played 22 games with Edmonton this season and has four points (1g-3a) * Second Condor to receive an AHL Player of the Week award this season as Taylor Beck received the honor on Nov. 7, 2016 Condors host Mardi Gras Night on Tuesday at 7 p.m. against Texas with Hurricanes for sale and beads to be given away. ~~~~~ ~~~~~
