SYRACUSE CRUNCH TO HOST CONCUSSION TALK PRESENTED BY UPSTATE CONCUSSION CENTER MARCH 4

SYRACUSE, N.Y. - The Syracuse Crunch are partnering with the Upstate Concussion Center to host a Concussion Talk on Saturday March 4 at 5:30 p.m. before the team plays the Binghamton Senators at 7 p.m.

The Concussion Talk will teach coaches and parents the warning signs of concussions and ways to prevent brain injuries in sports. The talk will be held on the third floor of the War Memorial Arena in Assembly Hall and feature Director of Upstate Concussion Center Dr. Brian Rieger.

Attendees who pre-register for the Concussion Talk will receive a complimentary ticket to the March 4 game and may purchase additional tickets for $15. Walk-in attendees may also purchase game tickets for $15.

The Upstate Concussion Center, comprised of the Sports Concussion Center and Concussion Management Program, provides comprehensive evaluation and treatment services for concussion and sports concussion. The Center and its practitioners are dedicated to improving the understanding and proper management of concussion through community education and outreach.
