
Theo Pinson and Alan Williams Selected to Midseason All-NBA G League East Team

LONG ISLAND - Brooklyn Nets two-way guard/forward Theo Pinson and two-way forward/center Alan Williams were both selected to the Midseason All-NBA G League East Team.
In 24 games with Long Island this season, Pinson has averaged 20.5 points, 5.6 rebounds, 6.6 assists and 1.0 steals in 36.0 minutes per game. Pinson registered the first triple-double in franchise history on Dec. 28 at Wisconsin with 27 points, 10 rebounds and 15 assists and is one of 13 players in the NBA G League to log a triple-double this season. He ranks ninth in the league in assists per game, leads the team and ties for 13th in the league in free throw percentage (.868) and also ranks 14th in points per game. The Greensboro, N.C., native has scored in double figures in all but one of his 24 games with the LI Nets this season and scored a Long Island season-high 43 points on Jan. 10 at Maine.
In 27 games with Long Island this season, Williams is averaging a double-double with team highs in points per game (20.9) and rebounds per game (13.5) in 26.9 minutes per contest. Williams ranks second in the NBA G League in rebounds per game, second in defensive rebounds per game (10.0), fourth in double-doubles (21), seventh in offensive rebounds per game (3.5) and 11th in points per game. On Dec. 16 versus Maine, Williams pulled down 25 rebounds, good for the second-most in a game in the NBA G League this season and tied for the eighth-most in a game in league history. The Phoenix, Ariz., native has scored in double figures in all 27 of his games for the LI Nets and has pulled down double-digit rebounds in 21 of those contests.
Pinson has also appeared in 11 games for the Brooklyn Nets this season, averaging 5.4 points, 2.6 rebounds and 1.5 assists in 14.7 minutes per contest, while Williams has appeared in three games for Brooklyn, recording averages of 3.3 points and 4.7 rebounds in 5.6 minutes per game.
