Sumner Named to Eastern Conference Midseason All-NBA G League Team

NEW YORK - The NBA G League announced today former two-way player Edmond Sumner was named to this year's Eastern Conference Midseason All-NBA G League Team. Sumner, who was converted to a standard NBA contract by the Indiana Pacers earlier today, averaged 23.9 points, 2.6 rebounds, 3.5 assists and 1.7 steals per contest with the Mad Ants this season.

NBA G League coaches, general managers and players voted on the top performers from the first half of the season from their respective conferences, based on the performance of players in games through January 22, 2019.

Eligibility for players to be selected for recognition is based on having played in 50 percent of their team's games through January 22nd and being on an Active Roster. Two-Way players and players on assignment from the NBA are eligible to both vote for and receive Midseason All-NBA G League recognition.
