Billy Garrett Named NBA G League Player of the Week

NEW YORK, NY - Billy Garrett of the Westchester Knicks (22-16), the official NBA G League affiliate of the New York Knicks, has been named the NBA G League Player of the Week as announced by the league Monday afternoon.

In a 2-0 week for Westchester, Garrett averaged a team-leading 30.0 points on 51.2-percent shooting, 3.5 rebounds, 7.0 assists, 1.5 steals and drained four triples.

In a double-overtime victory against Long Island (2/9), Garrett notched a career-high 39 points to go along with another career-best, 12 assists. The guard was 10-for-12 from the charity stripe and did not commit a single turnover in over 40 minutes played.

Against Canton (2/8), the guard scored 21 points on 57.1-percent shooting.

The Knicks travel to Capital City on February 12 for a 7:00 PM start time.
