Bruno Caboclo Named to All-G League Mid-Season Western Conference Team

EDINBURG, Texas - The NBA G League today announced that Vipers alumni, Bruno Caboclo, was named to the NBA All-G League Mid-Season Western Conference Team. Caboclo has been called up to a 10-day contract with Memphis Grizzlies.

Caboclo (6-9, 200) has appeared in 28 games, started in 23, for RGV where he averaged 16.4 points, 7.2 rebounds, 1.3 assists, 1.3 steals and three blocks over 28.3 minutes per game while shooting 51.6% from the floor, 42.8% from 3-point range and 74.4% from the free-throw line. In addition, Caboclo was named NBA G League Player of the Week on Monday, January 21 after scoring 26 points, nine rebounds, two assists and four blocks on Sunday, January 20 versus South Bay Lakers.

Prior to the Vipers, Caboclo started off as the 20th overall pick in the 2014 NBA Draft with the Toronto Raptors. With the Raptors, Caboclo played in 25 games in a course of three and a half seasons where he averaged 1.6 points per game. He then got traded to the Sacramento Kings where Caboclo averaged 2.6 points and 2.1 rebounds on a 31% shooting from the field.
