February 11, 2019 - NBA G League (G League)
Erie BayHawks News Release

ERIE, PA - Erie BayHawks forward Terrence Jones has been named to the Eastern Conference Midseason All-NBA G League Team, it was announced today. NBA G League coaches, general managers and players voted on the top performers from the first half of the season from their respective conferences, based on the performances of players in games through Jan. 22, 2019.

Jones (6-9, 252) has appeared in 21 games (12 starts) this season for the BayHawks, NBA G League affiliate of the Atlanta Hawks Basketball Club, averaging 22.7 points, 9.3 rebounds, 6.0 assists and 1.3 steals in 30.3 minutes of action (.535 FG%, .414 3FG%, .647 FT%). He is the only player in the NBA G League this season averaging at least 20.0 points, 9.0 rebounds and 6.0 assists. Jones' 6.0 assists per game is good for second-most among all forwards.

He has scored in double-figures in all but two games during the BayHawks' 2018-19 campaign, which includes scoring 30-or-more points on six separate occasions. Jones has set career highs in points (41-Jan. 27, 2019), rebounds (20-Feb. 5, 2019) and assists (14-Jan. 30, 2019) this season.

The University of Kentucky product has notched two triple-doubles so far this season, both as a reserve. He is the only bench player in NBA G League history to record two triple-doubles in the same season and the second BayHawk to record a triple-double as a reserve (Ivan Johnson-Mar. 18, 2011) (Elias Sports).

Jones was named NBA G League Player of the Week for games played Monday, Jan. 28 through Sunday, Feb. 3, after tallying 24.5 points, 9.5 rebounds, 9.5 assists and 1.0 steal in 32.3 minutes (.500 FG%, .429 3FG%). The honor marked the first for both Jones and the BayHawks this season.

Eligibility for players to be selected for recognition is based on having played in 50 percent of their team's games through Jan. 22, 2019 and being on an active roster. Two-Way players and players on assignment from the NBA are eligible to both vote for and receive Midseason All-NBA G League recognition.

The BayHawks will be back home for another One Buck Wednesday, presented by Smith's Hotdogs, on Wednesday, Feb. 13 against the Maine Red Claws. Tickets can be purchased online at eriebayhawks.com or at the Erie Insurance Arena box office.
