Burton and Hopson Named to Midseason Western Conference All-NBA G League Team

OKLAHOMA CITY - Oklahoma City Blue guards Deonte Burton and Scotty Hopson were named to the Midseason Western Conference All-NBA G League Team, it was announced today by the NBA G League.

Burton has appeared in 22 games (21 starts) and is averaging a team-leading 17.0 points, 5.0 rebounds, 3.3 assists, 2.18 steals and 1.00 block per game. His steals per game rank third in the league.

In 25 games (21 starts), Hopson is also averaging a team-high 17.0 points on 55.2 percent shooting, 4.5 rebounds and 2.8 assists. His field goal percentage ranks fourth among all guards in the league.

Burton and Hopson have led Oklahoma City to a 25-12 record, first in the Midwest Division and third overall in the league.

NBA G League coaches, general managers and players voted on the top performers from the first half of the season from their respective conferences, based on the performance of players in games through Jan. 22, 2019.

Eligibility for players to be selected for recognition is based on having played in 50 percent of their team's games through Jan. 22nd and being on an active roster. Two-way players and players on assignment from the NBA are eligible to both vote for and receive Midseason All-NBA G League recognition.
