WHITE PLAINS, NY - The Westchester Knicks, the official NBA G League affiliate of the New York Knicks, acquired Parker Jackson-Cartwright from the available player pool and waived Kevin Olekaibe as announced by the team today.
Jackson-Cartwright, 5'11, 170, joins the Westchester Knicks by the way of Raptors 905. The Raptors drafted Jackson-Cartwright in the second round of the 2018 NBA G League Draft. He has not yet appeared in a game this season.
The Los Angeles, CA native is a four-year product of the University of Arizona. The former Wildcat averaged 7.8 points as a senior and amassed over 700 points during his collegiate career.
Jackson-Cartwright will wear number 7 tomorrow and number 14 for the remainder of the season.
Kevin Olekaibe appeared in just one game with Westchester.
The Knicks travel to Capital City tomorrow, February 12 for a 7:00 PM start time.
