Capital City Go-Go News Release

WASHINGTON, D.C. - The NBA G League announced today that Washington Wizards two-way player, Jordan McRae, was named to the league's midseason All-NBA G League Eastern Conference Team. McRae currently leads the league in points per game at 30.0 and is the only player in the league with four games of at least 40 points.

In nine games in January, McRae averaged 36.1 points, 5.3 rebounds and 4.0 assists per game, while shooting 49.5 percent from the field. In those nine games, McRae scored at least 30 points in seven, and had a then-league-high 54 points against the Maine Red Claws on January 18. Capital City is 12-8 this season with McRae in the starting lineup, but have won eight of the last 10 games which he has appeared - including the team's six-game winning streak to kick off the 2019 calendar year.

During his recent eight-game call-up with the Wizards, McRae has averaged 8.4 points per game on 59.1 percent shooting from the field. The third-year NBA pro tallied his first 20-point game in over two years when he went 8-for-11 from the field against the Atlanta Hawks on February 4. During the stretch, McRae had a 15-point game in just eight minutes off the bench in Cleveland on January 29, as well as a 12-point game against Indiana on January 30.
