THIS WEEK'S OPPONENTS...
The CHICAGO WOLVES (Atlanta) are currently 2nd in the West Division with a 19-14 5-2 record and 45 points... The Wolves are 11-6-0-1 at home this season and are coming off a 3-2 win over Cincinnati Sunday past... Chicago is ranked 15th overall in the AHL with the man advantage with a 14.4% success rate and are 7th overall in penalty killing at 87.9%... Carl Lehtonen is 2nd in amongst AHL goaltenders with 14 wins in 26 starts. Lehtonen also has an impressive 2.39 GAA and a .926 save percentage... Left-winger Steve Maltais leads the Wolves with 29 points (12G,17A) in 40 games... The Wolves lead the season series 2-1-0-0... Karl Stewart has the hot hand for the Wolves tallying seven points (G,6A) in his last five games and 11 points in his last 10 games.
The MILWAUKEE ADMIRALS (Nashville) sit in third spot in the West Division with a 18-11-4-2 record and have 42 points... The Maple Leafs will be looking to go undefeated against the Admirals in the season series. The Leafs have a 2-0-1-0 record against Milwaukee... The Admirals are 6-3-1-0 in their last 10 games and are coming off a 6-0 romp over to the Utah Grizzlies... Milwaukee is ranked 24th overall with the man advantage at 12.1% and are 15th while short handed at 86.1%... Right winger Darren Haydar has the hot hand for the Wolves recording six points (3G,3A) in his last five game. Haydar also has 12 points including six goals in his last 10 games... Defencman Brad Tilley has 8 assists and is a +9 in his last 10 outings... Goaltender Wade Flaherty is 8-2-1, has a 1.66 GAA and a .937 save percentage in 12 appearances this season.
The GRAND RAPIDS GRIFFINS (Detroit) lead the West Division by four points over the Chicago Wolves. The Griffins have a 22-12-5-0 record and have 48points in 39 games... The Griffins are currently on a three game unbeaten streak (2-0-1-0) and are coming off a 6-2 win over San Antonio... St. John's will be looking to break Grand Rapids unbeaten record against the Blue and White in their last matchup of the season. The Griffins lead the season series 2-0-1-0... Center Nathan Robinson has 8 points including six goals in his last 10 games... Goaltender Marc Lamothe has a 13- 10-3 record with three shutouts, a 1.97 GAA and a .924 save percentage in 27 starts this season... Grand Rapids is ranked 13th while on the PP at 14.8% and are 5th overall while killing penalties at 88.6%.

Mike Minard: Posted a 1-0-1 record in two games last week. Minard has a3.36 GAA and stopped 56 of 63 shots he faced in those games.
Greg Lakovic: Scored his first goal in the AHL in a 4-4 tie Saturday night against the Toronto Roadrunners.
UPCOMING OPPONENTS...
The Hamilton Bulldogs return to Mile One Stadium January 27th and 28th. The Bulldogs lead the season series 4-1-0-0.
The Cleveland Barons will make their first appearance at Mile One Stadium in franchise history on January 30th and 31st.
DID YOU KNOW?
The St. John's Maple Leafs played their 100th game at Mile One Stadium Saturday night, a 4-4 tie with Toronto. The team's record since moving to their new home in 2001 is 47-37-15-1.
