
Crunch at Your Service Dinner Set For February 23

Syracuse, NY (January 13, 2004) â The Syracuse Crunch announced today that their ninth-annual Crunch at Your Service Dinner will be held on Monday, February 23 at the War Memorial at Oncenter.
Crunch players will be at your service on Monday, February 23 at the War Memorial at Oncenter beginning at 6 p.m. Cocktail hour will be from 6-7 p.m., where guests will have the opportunity to take pictures with their favorite Crunch players and bid on silent auction items. Dinner will begin at 7 p.m., as players âwork' for tips by performing crazy antics and strive for the honor of being âTop Waiter'.
This year's dinner will benefit the Crunch Foundation and the Central New York Children's Hospital at University Hospital.
The mission of the Crunch Foundation states: "The Syracuse Crunch Foundation will utilize the unique talents of its professional athletes, coaches and staff to improve the quality of life throughout the community by dedicating time, resources and financial support to organizations committed to meeting the educational, cultural, health and wellness needs of its citizens."
The CNY Children's Hospital will be housed on two floors of a six-floor expansion of University Hospital's East Wing. The new Children's Hospital will more than triple the area used for pediatric care from 18,000 square feet to 87,000 square feet.
Private rooms for all pediatric patients will feature private bathrooms, showers and sleeper chairs. Also available is a family dining room and kitchen, pediatric chapel, school room, laundry room and play rooms.

Syracuse hosts Toronto on Friday, January 16 for Empire Vision Centers Poster Night. All fans in attendance will receive a Crunch poster, courtesy of Empire Vision Centers. Saturday, January 17, the Crunch host the Cleveland Barons. Both games start at 7:30 p.m. Tickets for both games are available by calling the Crunch office at (315) 473-4444, stopping by the Oncenter box office, located on the State Street side of the War Memorial or by calling TicketMaster at (315) 472-0700.
