
Wade Dubielewicz To Chat On theahl.com Wednesday At 2 p.m.

BRIDGEPORT, CT â Bridgeport Sound Tigers Goaltender Wade Dubielewicz will take part in a live, on-line chat on the official web site of the American Hockey League, www.theahl.com, tomorrow, Wednesday, January 14th, at 2 p.m. Fans can log on to www.theahl.com and email their questions to Dubielewicz, in advance or during the live chat.
Dubielewicz is the AHL's reigning rookie of the moth having posted a 5-0-1 record, 0.82 goals against average, .964 save percentage and two shutouts in December. The Invermere, British Columbia native was also named the starting Canadian team goaltender for next month's AHL All-Star Classic, which will take place in Grand Rapids, Michigan on February 8th and 9th. Dubielewicz currently leads the League's netminders with a 1.18 goals against average, is tied for the lead with a .952 save percentage and is tied for the third with four shutouts. He also has a 12-3-1 record in 16 games this season.
Dubielewicz signed as a free agent with the Sound Tigers' National Hockey League affiliate, the New York Islanders, this past summer after a brilliant four-year career at the University of Denver where he posted the Pioneers' highest career save percentage, .926, and was a finalist for the 2002 Hobey Baker Award, which is given to the best collegiate hockey player in the United States. He led Denver to the Western Collegiate Hockey Association Championship and was the Association's top-ranked goaltender in both 2000-01 and 2001-02.
The Sound Tigers will continue a stretch of six straight road games and eight of ten away from home when they visit the Providence Bruins this Friday at 7:05 p.m. and the Hershey Bears this Saturday at 7 p.m. Both games will be broadcast live on 600 WICC-AM and at www.soundtigers.com. They will finish the six-game stretch when they visit the Albany River Rats; at the home of their NHL affiliate, the New Jersey Devils; on Thursday, January 22nd and the Philadelphia Phantoms on Friday, January 23rd. The Sound Tigers' next home game will be Saturday, January 24th when they host Albany at 7:05 p.m.
Sound Tigers individual-game tickets are on sale at the Harbor Yard box office Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. until 4 p.m., Saturday between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. and on all game days, as well as on-line at www.ticketmaster.com or by calling Ticketmaster at 203-368-1000.
