Canucks Recall Tyler Bouck

The Vancouver Canucks today announced they have recalled forward Tyler Bouck from the Manitoba Moose.

Bouck has missed just one game this season for the Moose. In 42 games, he is fifth in scoring this season for Manitoba with 10 goals and 10 assists for 20 points. He has also collected 62 penalty minutes. He is second on the team with 98 shots on net.

The 23-year old played in 76 games with the Moose last season and scored 10 goals and 38 points to go along with 103 penalty minutes. He has played 138 games over his career with the Moose, scoring 24 goals and 66 points. He also has 190 penalty minutes. The native of Camrose, AB has played in 55 NHL games in his career with the Dallas Stars and Phoenix Coyotes. All of his NHL points came in 2000-01, when he recorded two goals and five assists with the Stars. He played in a single NHL playoff game that year with Dallas.

Bouck was acquired by the Canucks in a trade with Phoenix on December 28, 2001 with Todd Warriner, Trevor Letowski and a 3rd round pick in exchange for Drake Berehowsky and Denis Pederson.
