IceCats Receive Goalie

WORCESTER, MA – St. Louis Blues Senior Vice President/General Manager and Worcester IceCats General Manager of Hockey Operations Larry Pleau announced today that the IceCats have recalled goaltender Cody Rudkowsky from the Reading Royals of the ECHL.

The 6-1, 201 pound Rudkowsky has appeared in 26 games this season for the Reading Royals, notching a 13-10-2 record. The Willingdon, Alberta native has posted a .933 save percentage with a 2.18 goals against average.

Rudkowsky has appeared in 84 games for Worcester over a four-year span. His IceCats record reflects 29 wins, 30 losses and 14 ties. His cumulative goals against average is 2.88 while he has posted a .905 save percentage.

The IceCats host the Springfield Falcons at Worcester's Centrum Centre Wednesday night. Game time is 7:05 PM. All tickets for Wednesday's game are just $10. For tickets and information call 1-800-830-CATS.

‘CAT NIPS: To accommodate the diverse interests of their fans, the Worcester IceCats have changed the start time of this Sunday's game at Worcester's Centrum Centre. Originally scheduled for 4:05 PM, the game will now begin at 7:15 PM.
