
Taco Truck Throwdown 3, Dodgers' Affiliate Highlight Upcoming 8-Game Homestand

FRESNO, Calif. - The Fresno Grizzlies enter the final month of the season with a promotion-packed eight-game homestand from July 30-August 6. The Grizzlies face the Round Rock Express, Triple-A affiliate of the Texas Rangers, from Tuesday, July 30-Friday, August 2 followed by a four-game series against the Los Angeles Dodgers' affiliate, the Albuquerque Isotopes, from Saturday, August 3-Tuesday, August 6.
The homestand kicks off on July 30th with the Principal Financial Dreams Tour featuring a Parker Head Bank giveaway to the first 1,000 fans in attendance, compliments of Principal Financial Group. Fans can visit with Clifford The Big Red Dog, presented by Wawona Frozen Foods, as the Valley PBS character will throw out the first pitch and take pictures on the concourse. It is 2 For Tuesday as well, meaning fans can purchase two Field Box tickets for the price of one. There are also $2 hot dogs, sodas and popchips for all fans through the fourth inning. General admission gates open at 6:05 pm for the 7:05 pm game.
Wednesday, July 31st is Everybody Wins-Day, presented by The Fresno Bee. The value-packed Everybody Wins-Day ticket deal includes two Super View tickets, two Fresno Chaffee Zoo passes, two Jamba Juice vouchers, two RaceRoom @ River Park vouchers, and two John's Incredible Pizza Company vouchers, all for just $26. It is Wine Glass Wednesday as fans can enjoy a glass of CRU wine and receive a complimentary stemless CRU Wine Company wine glass. The Grizzlies will also celebrate Armenian Heritage Night. First pitch is 7:05 pm.
The event of the summer returns on Thursday, August 1st as Taco Truck Throwdown 3 will take over Chukchansi Park. Fifteen taco trucks from across the Central San Joaquin Valley will be at the Grizzlies' game as fans can enjoy $2 tacos throughout the evening. There are special Taco Truck Throwdown ticket packs. The Deluxe Taco package includes four taco vouchers, a ticket to the game, and a Taco Truck Throwdown t-shirt for $20. The Super Taco Experience includes eight taco vouchers, a ticket to the game, and a Taco Truck Throwdown t-shirt for $28. It is also the last Tecate Thursday of the season, meaning fans can enjoy $2 24 oz. Tecate and Tecate Light (through the 5th inning) and $1 sodas (all game long) one final time during the 2013 season. All gates open at a special 5:30 pm time for the 7:05 pm game. Arrive early to beat the lines at the taco trucks as well as enjoy live pre-game music by Doc's Holiday, presented by New Rock 104.1. Stay after the game for post-game Lucha Xtreme wrestling.
Farm Grown Friday is on August 2nd as there will be a Farmer's Market, presented by Fresno Equipment Company, along the concourse and a Farm Forum inside the CRU Club at 5 pm. The Farm Forum will discuss the topic "High-Speed Rail and Farming: Can we have both?" The August 2nd game is also Habitat for Humanity Night, presented by PG&E. Stay after the 7:05 pm game for Friday Night Fireworks, also presented by PG&E.
The Grizzlies welcome the Dodgers' affiliate to Chukchansi Park for the first time in two years on Saturday, August 3rd. The first 2,000 fans to the game will receive Grizzlies Headphones. During the game, the Drag Kings will perform, presented by Chukchansi Gold Resort & Casino. Local pet adoption agencies will be at Chukchansi Park to allow the fans the opportunity to adopt a new friend as part of Bark At The Park Night. General admission gates open at 6:05 pm.
Sunday, August 4th features a 6:05 pm game with plenty of family entertainment. Before the game, enjoy Family Catch On The Field and a Future Giants and Parker Autograph Session. There will also be the Stauffer's Animal Cracker's Pre-game Parade for kids 12 and under. After the game, there will be Kids Run The Bases, presented by popchips. One of the final Monday Madness before the new school year starts is Monday, August 5th. Wrap up the summer with the best family deal in town. Fans can purchase the Monday Madness ticket deal, presented by ABC 30 and Wild Water Adventure Park, which includes two Field Level Reserved tickets, two hot dogs, two sodas, two Wild Water Adventure Park passes, and two Blackbeard's Mini Golf passes for $32. First pitch is 7:05 pm.
The homestand wraps up on Tuesday, August 6th with another 2 For Tuesday. Field Box tickets are two for the price of one, which means two tickets for $19. Also, hot dogs, sodas, and popchips are $2 through the fourth inning. Curious George from Valley PBS will be at the game to take pictures with fans, presented by Wawona Frozen Foods. The 7:05 pm game is also Community Outreach Night, presented by Chukchansi Gold Resort & Casino.
